Create a GST-compliant invoice, free
This free GST invoice generator builds a clean, professional tax invoice with all the fields a registered supplier needs — your GSTIN, the customer, place of supply, HSN/SAC codes, quantity, rate, discount and GST rate. It automatically works out whether the supply is intra-state (CGST + SGST) or inter-state (IGST) from the place of supply, and shows the amount in words in the Indian format.
Everything runs in your browser. Your business details are saved only on your device, and the PDF is generated locally — nothing is uploaded.
What makes an invoice GST-compliant?
- Supplier name, address and GSTIN
- A consecutive invoice number and date
- Customer name, address and GSTIN (for B2B)
- HSN/SAC code, quantity, rate and taxable value per item
- Correct tax split — CGST + SGST or IGST — and place of supply
Tip: The tax split is driven by the place of supply. If the customer's state code matches yours, it's intra-state (CGST + SGST); if it differs, it's inter-state (IGST). Pick the place of supply carefully.
Frequently asked questions
Is this GST invoice generator really free?
Yes. It’s completely free with no sign-up. The invoice is generated in your browser and downloaded as a PDF.
Does it calculate CGST, SGST and IGST automatically?
Yes. It compares your state with the place of supply and applies CGST + SGST for intra-state or IGST for inter-state supplies.
Is this a valid tax invoice / e-invoice?
It produces a standard GST tax invoice with the Rule 46 fields. It is not an e-invoice — businesses above the ₹5 crore e-invoicing limit must generate an IRN + QR from the government portal for B2B.
Do you store my data?
No. Business details are saved only in your browser and the PDF is created locally.
